I recently took a course in batik and was inspired to create a set of brushes based on what I learnt.

Batik is a method of dying textiles by having first applied wax to the parts that will be left un-dyed. The texture that you see in the preview is part of the brushes, making them very realistic. It was invented in Java.

I’ve also included the background cloth texture that you see in the preview in the form of a BONUS repeat pattern swatch. To use the brushes simply select one from the brushes tab and then draw with the brush tool. Be sure to view the full-size preview to see the detail!
