I'm pleased to announce my very first product for sale: 27 Textures Vol.1! These are simple to use, hi-res tif files for use in Illustrator or Photoshop. Created and time tested to add subtle imperfections, chewed edges, heavy textures, scrapes and other assorted perfectly imperfect effects to any image.

These are high-res 300 DPI bitmapped files. Some give you an ultra-crisp grain texture, others will soften your image. You can always play with the opacity layers to fine tune your look even further.

I use these on my own projects and they really help my workflow and give me the great results I need. Here's a simple and effective way to use the textures:

• Drag file to open Illustrator page. Select texture and eyedrop background color. Overlay texture over graphic for desired effect. Great trick for aging t-shirt designs.

• Work these textures into your Photoshop layers workflow for true grit and maximum coolness. These files LOVE transparency tweaks!
