WHAT IS LEUTNER?
Named after the dining hall that Aaron would sneak into while attending art school, Leutner is an eyeball-grabbing, hypnotic and sturdy geometric font inspired by the late 20th century (while still maintaining it's own unique personality).
It's also a four typeface, layered type system. So you can create eye-catching typography in seconds.
WATCH AARON SHARE HIS FONT WITH RANDOM STRANGERS ON THE STREETS OF CLEVELAND (MUST WATCH)
What happens when a type designer asks people on the street what they think of his new font?
In this promo video for the new font from OKpants, type designer Aaron Sechrist does just that.
He took a camera crew, font samples and his bigger than life personality to downtown Cleveland, Ohio. Then he asked random people on the street for their opinion on his new type system. Trust me, you don't want to miss this video.

WHAT'S A LAYERED TYPE SYSTEM
A layered type system like Leutner takes all of the hassles out of building great looking type work.
Let's say you wanted to create some custom 3D type with your run-of-the-mill font. You'd have to manually build of the 3D elements, add fill layers, and then tweak each layer to try to get it all lined up and looking good.
With a font like Leutner the process is effortless (but still gives you tons of control to tweak it how you like).
All you have to do is type your words, choose a color, copy and paste the font on top of itself, and then choose your next layer (Main, Fill, Base or 3D). By mixing and matching font styles and colors you can build amazing looking type work in seconds.
