Steelplate Script is a revival typeface based on an elegant vintage script of the same name, Steelplate Script by American Type Founders in 1923.

Ever since I acquired my ATF Speciment Book (published in 1923 and only 60,000 copies were printed), I've been eyeing on this script. It was classy, slightly formal, yet organic and in my eyes, a rarity. Later I searched through cyberspace for months trying to find a digital font of this beauty - turned out no one has really paid enough attention to it to make that happen.

I figured if I want to use the script, I'll have to make it myself. And this font is the result of that thought.

Absolutely lovely typeface, Steelplate Script works very well for vintage theme project. Imagine this in an invitation card.
Authentically includes all numbers and english alphabets, dollar sign, and couple more symbols. All were taken from the original design with minimal alteration.
